This camera has so much potential, but is downright impossible to set up reliably. the interface over 4g is HORRIBLE. Its so bad that after DAYS of messing with it I can only get a couple things to work. Bought it for monitoring a construction site because I wanted something better than a REOLINK... Its better, but impossible to use n connect to.... I will be returning it to set up a recording POE camera systemI will start by saying the actual picture quality is very good, and the physical build quality is good too....thats it. The unreliability of connectivity and the horrible interface makes it absolutely unusable. The 4g connection strength is 4/5 bars and works on my other camera.-Picture quality is excellent, even the night vision is really good. I don't think I would say 1000ft, but definitely a couple hundred.-Motion detection is very adjustable, and the cross line feature works well.... if you can get it to actually reliability send the alert and record.-Cross line and motion alerts took several minutes to get to my phone. Long after it happened.-Loading playback was borderline impossible. I spent a full day trying to get one small clip to load.-Cant get the camera added to guard station (laptop) over the 4g connection, prompts you to log into the cloud service, doesn't work. If you click the forgot password link, its a dead end link.-with motion, you'll get repeated notifications, there doesn't seem to be any way to do a start motion then no more until end motion, only a suppress timeframe.-Live view about 95% of the time errors out for network error, or unknown error, etc. If you do get it to load, even on the lowest quality setting and 5 frames per second it still says choppy connection after about 3 seconds then fails.-after exhaustively messing with it for the last 3 hours, its now recording non stop even though I have it on manual (not scheduled) and only triggered by motion or cross line.-Ive still yet to figure out how to get the motion and trip line to record its own video. The settings are all set exactly as they should be for it (set to record on alert) yet nothing is recording...I may not be an IT security expert, but I know a decent bit about how to set systems up. I would NOT buy this camera unless you were an absolute IT Security camera expert and plan on running it outside of their interface. Definitely not for the average Joe...
