I bought this for my kids who want to be future photographers. They love it. It does make really great videos even with a young person using it. The zoom is really good but hard to hold steady. A good tripod fixes that issue.The battery would never charge. We thought it could be an user error but we tried both batteries made sure they were secure and on tightly and correct and had them on the charger for hours and every time we went to use them they were running low.Got this to vlog..it works as it should picture quality not so great but other than that easy to set up and function...comes with instructions which are easy to follow..overall its a handy lil thingWas a nice little camera difficult finding the Wi-Fi but once established in good working order tooth great video Isley instructableThis is an update. I can never contact anyone for a new charger. Can’t find a new charger for it anywhere. It’s just a paper weight now.The battery life is pretty shoddy. I was only able to charge the battery once before the charger broke so now I can’t use it anymore till I figure out how to buy the charger for it.I used it once. Just the once. It didn't record for more than a few minutes. I'd charged the batteries, the camera, the mic, everything. As soon as I turned on the camera, the battery drained within a few minutes. The camcorder wouldn't even work when I had the charger plugged in. I tried everything. I think it's the brand rather than the seller as I tried to get one very similar to this before I bought this one and the same thing happened, which is why I tried to buy this one.This is a modest quality 1080p video camera and camera with a number of helpful accessories included. The quality of the camera is acceptable at best, but it will serve your needs for casual use. I'm using it on a tripod to record YouTube content.The accessories included and versatility are where the value comes in. The camera comes with a budget shotgun mic, stabilization handle, and hooded lens cover. The camera is attachable to tripods and has a cold shoe mount on the top allowing mounting any number of accessories to the camera.The lens of the camera can be connected to other accessories and I was able to use the hood to help adapt the camera to fit a teleprompter.The camera has an audio in, which works nicely with the provided mic. Additionally a mini-HDMI out allows the camera to connect to an external camera monitor, which I currently use to allow me to see video feed while using the teleprompter. One note on this: when you pipe the camera preview to another monitor, you no longer see it on the integrated preview screen. Not a dealbreaker for me, but worth noting.The camera also includes a remote which operates on a coin battery and is handy when you're recording yourself as I am.The camera allows for a USB connection to a computer where the camera can serve as a live webcam, HOWEVER, the resolution jumps down from 1080p to 640x480, making the camera worse than a standard webcam.The WiFi capability is unintuitive and does not allow for easy retrieval of media. As a result, I have to unscrew the camera from the tripod mount, remove any peripherals, and then open the camera up to get the SD card out to get media out of the camera. This is partially due to the manual lacking a lot of detail.All told, this camera will be a budget centerpiece of a recording setup for YouTube content, but should I want to professionally record a course, I'd want to go with a 4k camera from a more reputable brand.I love that you can catch every angle with this Camcorder. I had one that never wanted to focus, but the features on this one is phenomenal.Great focusMicrophone is loud and clearEasy to useThis product is number one in my book.
