For this price bracket, this is really good security camera that is full of features;- Clear sharp picture- Option to save the recordings locally on SD, or FTP to remote location and/or have them email as soon as the alarm is triggered. You don't need a subscribe to a cloud.- Excellent motion and humanoid sensors that minimize false alarms- Supports H265, which has much better file compression then H264, resulting in smaller file sizes- Option to have siren, dog barking or custom recording when the sensor detects something, duration of alarm can be set from 5/10/15/20/25/30 seconds.- Bright LED lights that can be set to be on all time during dark, or only when sensor picks up something or not all all.- Easy to connect using Wi-Fi. It does offers hotspot after it has been reset.- Successfully connected using GENBOLT Android App, Windows10 using HiP2P app, and Edge browser using http.- Very easy to install the camera.If you are using Wi-Fi for connect, it is best to configure the camera inside the house, including Wi-Fi, before any attempt is made to install it in the final location. This way, it take about 5 minutes to install, once you get ladder into position.I noticed the following been different compared to other model cameras from same company;- Doesn't save images to SD card, which was an overkill anyway, as you have the same on video saved to SD card, you still have option to save photos to FTP or send them by email.- Doesn't have "Check for Updates" menu option in the app, which may mean this camera is not upgradable.Some improvements can be made;- SD card cover has microphone and speaker attached to it, the wires may come undone overtime, if you keep accessing the SD card.- Access to the SD card, should be screw-less, or the screw should be of type that stays in the hole of the lid when unscrewed, as it is very easy to drop the screw when the cover is taken off or put on.Overall, this is very nice and reliable camera, I am also happy owner of 2 other models from GENBOLT; GB213H and GB213X.This camera was shipped by Amazon Prime, it was shipped in the product box only (as attached picture of product box), with no other packaging, helps the environment!
